What we collect
When you request the declaration form we collect your email address. If you use the contact form we collect your name and the enquiry you send. We do not ask for anything else.
Why we hold it
We use your email address to send you the declaration form and to record, with the National Burial Council and the Muslim Burial Council of Leicestershire, that you want an Islamic funeral. We use your contact details only to answer your enquiry. Our lawful basis for this is your consent, which you give by submitting the form, and you may withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not share your data with any party other than the National Burial Council and the Muslim Burial Council of Leicestershire, and only for the sole purpose of recording that you want an Islamic funeral. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
All data is stored within the European Union.
How long we keep it
We keep your declaration on record for as long as it is needed to serve its purpose. If you ask us to erase it, we will.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to be forgotten, meaning we erase it. To exercise any of these rights, email salam@ajanazahforme.com and we will act on your request.
